Huawei Honor 9 Lite is here

Leaked a day before launch. Huawei has been known for some great flagships and it has invested in the production of another smartphone this year. The Honor P9 smartphone was released in June 2017 and it was available for sale in July, 2017. Huawei has now released a successor to its flagship. Sadly, it got leaked before the actual big day and we know the specifications. It has allegedly been leaked on Chinese portal, MyDrivers.

This new Honor 9 Lite will feature a 5.65″ inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect  ratio and is also believed to feature dual front and rear cameras. The previous P9 sports a 5.15″ inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Huawei Honor P9 also had a dual camera with the following specifications, Dual: 12 MP (f/2.2, 27mm) + 20 MP (f/2.2, 27mm), phase detection auto-focus, 2x lossless zoom, dual-LED dual-tone flash. The newer model is reportedly going to have a 20 MP and a 13 MP rear cameras. However, more details about the camera hasn’t been revealed. The previous model had only one secondary viz. font facing camera (8.0 MP/f2.0) but the Huawei Honor P9 Lite will own to front facing cameras.

Since, this is the lower end model of the Huawei Honor P9, it will run on a Kirin 659 processor, while the P9 runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor. Cost of the model has been cut down by using the lower end processor and also by reducing the storage space Huawei Honor 9 Lite will have two models, one with 32GB of storage while the other with 64GB of storage. The two variants will have 3GB or 4GB of RAM unlike the 4/6GB RAM model variants on the Huawei Honor P9. The new model is going run on a power pack of 3000mAh which is quite good enough for a budget phone keeping the charge up for a day with average use. What else were you expecting from this new model?
