Apple managed to do another product by the end of 2017 and it’s a beast. The iMac Pro is the biggest Apple could get. They said on Tuesday that the product will be up for sale starting from Thursday. iMac Pro will sport an Intel Xeon processor with AMD graphics card option. With an option to upgrade to a 128GB of RAM and 4TB of memory, almost anything will be supported on this beast. The space grey matte finish desktop has a lot of things to say when it comes to the display. It’s a 27- inch Retina display with 5120 by 2880 pixels resolution. That’s way more than Full HD+.
Users also have an option to upgrade to an 18-core Intel Xeon processor. This beast is not just for anyone. It’s made for a reason. Best used by Audio and Visual professionals who know what they’re doing and want the right thing to get their ideas up and running. All this comes at a cost. The iMac Pro is priced at $4999 and that’s the starting price. Apple did keep it’s promise of shipping the iMac Pro in December. At the back it has 4 USB ports, 3 ThunderBolt USB Type-C ports and an Ethernet wire port.
The lower end which is priced at $4999 comes with 32GB RAM, 1TB Solid State Drive, 5K resolution with Vega GPU Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8GB of HBM2 memory and an 8 core processor. You’ll find more information about the specifications here.
